Scope of Work:
We provided structural design and construction of two steel truss bridges crossing Greens Bayou in support of a new 18 hole golf course addition to the Redstone Golf Club where the Houston Shell Open is held annually. We worked closely with the Redstone Golf Management and the project civil Engineering firm of Brown & Gay developing a three span 255’X12’ Prefabricated H-Truss bridge fabricated by Continental Bridge to be used for golf cart access. We also developed a second 5 span 250’X24’ vehicular stringer bridge to be used for Golf Course maintenance and heavy spectator traffic during the Shell Open. This superstructure was also fabricated by Continental Bridge. The bridges were constructed during one of the wettest springs Houston has seen without delay to the project.
